Dealing with customer queries and complaints
Answering multiple incoming call lines
Scheduling new and follow up consultations
Set up and manage client files
Taking payments & daily cashing up
General reception duties inc filing, faxing, photocopying and franking
Sales (practice health plan, food, toys & treats)
Liaise with vets, nurses and other practice staff
General cleaning/tidying of reception area
Although this job is set within a veterinary practice and a love of animals is important, we are looking for candidates with a strong customer care background and ideally 2 years or more experience in a customer facing role. An upbeat and can do attitude is essential. The role can be both physically and emotionally challenging but is a great opportunity for someone who loves to interact with the public and enjoys the satisfaction of knowing they've really made a difference to people's lives.
